God has given the congregation Spruce Pine UMC a heart for loving and serving our community and our world.
Our Lamplighters Afterschool Reading Program, which includes 15+ Reading Buddy volunteers, serves as a shining light to 20 children (and their families) from Greenlee Primary School.
We partner with our school system to feed dozens of children in June and July through the KidsCafe summer feeding program.
Each year we send two mission teams to spend a week helping survivors to rebuild after hurricanes and tornadoes.

Our church also serves as a host site for local Kairos prison ministry weekends, for the Residents as Parents Program, and for an Alcoholics Anonymous group. Our community needs you - and we need you - to help love our neighbors well.
