 Work Day on February 5, 2005 with early departure from the church to work on flood damaged homes in the Waynesville District. Full day with return to church that evening, late.

Guy & Pat Ross -- WNC VIM Building team in Costa Rica. February 6-19
There are 16 Methodists from throughout Western North Carolina and one Baptist signed up for this Mission Trip to La Fortuna, San Carlos, Costa Rica.  The team leaves February 6 and returns February 19.  Our Mission will consist of building cabins for Casi Cielo, a Christian Camp in La Fortuna, and working in a nearby Indian village. We have one duffel bag full with 38 pairs of shoes and piles of Beanie Babies (compliments of the Orchard at Altapass) and another full of caps, fabric, and tapes.

David & Alice Houser--International Health Services of MN in Pranza, Honduras,  February 11-27
 David and Alice went for the third year to the La Mosquitia region of Honduras for medical / dental missions.   They joined nearly 100 people coming from all over the US for this 2 week mission.  This year David and Alice were in Pranza, an inland village on the Coco River bordering Nicaragua.  They were on a team of 12 volunteers.  David brought his Ham radio skills to provide voice and e-mail communications, and Alice served as dental assistant.
